Mine were more a list of whatever had annoyed me about the recent ex. "Does not play (specific computer game)" was a fairly frequent flier.

I'm not going to pretend that my teenage self never wrote "ideal boyfriend" lists, usually post-breakup. But while they were often extremely shallow and unrealistic, they weren't this disturbing.

Drop my autistic kid into any playground in the country. Within 10 minutes he's latched on to someone to play with. Within 20 minutes there's a parent by my side explaining that their kid doesn't usually make friends easily because they're autistic.

We got married 1. To celebrate our relationship's permanence with our close friends and family. 2. To ensure legal protections in the society in which we live, eg inheritance, hospital stuff, and if it comes to it, divorce rights. It is not a job contract.

I have of course been told that I should take him to A&E when he's in meltdown. 1. How? How do I take him *anywhere* while he's in meltdown? 2. Why would I do that to him? 3. Why would I do that to the A&E staff and patients?

He's unable to attend school or activities without me present. But because I have dropped everything to care for him, he hasn't had an injury requiring A&E, so in triage terms, he's not high priority.

It's the bit I always struggle with, especially when my brain is howling!

Have you considered just asking the id Verde lot to send a crew out with massive super-soakers and a few barrels of water on the van?

I can see where it would be a useful product for priests to bring on home visits, maybe also for hospitals/care homes where mass might be attended virtually. Not sure about it being a Walmart category of thing, though.

I'm not sure which era of "healthy" packed lunches he wants to evoke here. Even in the middle of last century, the goals were - not too expensive - quick to prepare - still edible by midday
