Watching Riverdale season 6 for the first time. On one hand…what? What? WHAT? OTOH, I am deeply impressed that this show not only committed to the bit but did it pretty well.

I not only think this is correct, I think it almost has to be this way. We *have* to learn to at least know what is acceptable to the larger culture, if only so we can reject it properly. But then we also need to know how to figure ourselves out, and that takes so much more time and mistakes.
Mobile Slut GundamIt's all a process of deconstructing what we picked up along the way, and settling into what actually feels comfortable. You don't have to become a leather daddy. I think older folks seem more at ease exploring the kink community because it takes time to understand yourself and what you like.
This. It’s so weird to me that so many people want to “fight back” against a situation that currently favors Dems. That it also favors *certain* GOP (but not the GOP as a whole) seems to be enough to stand against it, I guess.
takethepithAppointing a new senator can only be done with a vacancy. The SC could say that puts the 2024 law in effect and they could end up with an active R senator sooner than they would have.
I have SO MANY checking behaviors. And I still forget stuff 😭. Had to force myself to evaluate new checking behaviors to make sure it’s actually something that’s reasonable for me to be responsible for, or if I need to just let the chips fall.
it’s me, aslynnthere's also what I call "Forgetfulness trauma" which is basically checking behaviors that are born out of having ADHD so I end up having to ask A LOT about checking now that people know "checking" in the context of OCD in common public knowledge I end up asking elaborate hypotheticals
First, I haven’t lost my mind. But this Daily Caller write up of the “Insider Trading” ban is likely one of the most Dem sympathetic article I’ve ever seen on that site. The author sounds PISSED at house GOP. dailycaller.com/2026/07/23/i...

Emma EvansOkay time for fun. Go into your photo roll or whatever, and post the first image that makes you laugh literally out loud. Here's mine.
Gen Z: the boomers are noticing our generational trends Millennials, still catching strays even when it’s not about us:
Sensing echoes of all the "Millennials killed XYZ" stories from 15 years ago... Here, GenZ apparently doesn't get laid doesnt fall in love....
Personally, I think Beshear is both. The immediate benefits to senate Dems proves he is at least working off a good strategy, but he is really not milking this as much as he should be. But, then, I’m a natural 💩 disturber, so I’d just appoint someone even if for no other reason than to annoy Mitch.
SeasonalPunI just don’t know who to believe now: Group A: Beshear is a dumbass for not doing anything about Missing Mitch & appointing somebody or Group B: Beshear is a genius since it leaves GOP without crucial power at this time.
