🎨 Lore Bit: Hearz is a female Inkling originating from Inkadia. A tinker since she was young, she enjoyed the idea of taking electronics apart, inspecting them and understanding how things worked. As she grew older however, her ability to get new things to take apart was in dire straits.

Absolutely false My local video store - My Neighbor Totoro needed a sticker explaining the bath scene was a cultural thing and totally fine. You needed ID to rent Faces of Death, Bubblegum Crisis, or Project A-ko because anime was for weirdos DBZ & Pokemon became popular in the VERY late 90s

This is bullshit. Dragonball, Sailor Moon, and Pokemon were ridiculously popular in the 90s. There was never a time in the US when people "hated and looked down on anime." At the most, there was a time when people were "unaware of anime."
