See also: cutting off aid to states for pure political reasons, openly monetizing the presidency, threatening NATO allies with conquest, etc. etc. One amazingly Special Boy we have made of him.

Secretary of Defense Rock

Still can’t over the fact that the president of the United States just told an entire state to pound sand after getting cyberattacked by a foreign adversary because they didn’t vote for him and it was treated like a Tuesday lol

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

It’s not a panacea, but the fascists are getting 20-25% of the vote & aren’t dominating politics in multiparty systems. Also, Americans love to point to 🇮🇱 & 🇬🇧, which are two of the worst-designed parliamentary systems. Anyway, more & stronger parties are absolutely a bulwark against fascism.

Noah Berlatsky

people love the idea of a multi party system. based on israel, UK, and really lots of other places, I'm much less convinced. our problem is fascism. if we don't defeat fascism, it doesn't matter how many parties we have.

Zakaria: With "forced labor" tariffs against Sweden, Japan, etc., Trump "appears to be ordering the USG to formally certify as fact something it knows is not true. Agencies must publish findings...and affix the authority of the American state to a falsehood manufactured" to withstand court review.

Russia commits war crimes every single day

Anton Gerashchenko

It was a massive attack involving dozens of ballistic missiles. Russia killed nine people and injured 28 more, including four children, in Kyiv overnight. Civilian infrastructure was heavily damaged across multiple districts of the city.

A self-respecting Congress would impeach him over this immediately. Doing an end-run around the Senate's Constitutional "advise and consent" authority to illegally take money from taxpayers, and give it to himself and criminals he likes. Alone, one of the most impeachable offenses in US history.

America is now a joke country where citizens are arrested to cover up for the president’s lies on social media. We’ve replaced DEI with incompetence and protecting the egos of mediocre white men.

So basically an adversary could attack any blue state and Trump wont care because he doesn't see himself as the President of the "United States" Without a doubt the most worst president we've ever had. Anti-republic, anti-democratic, anti-constitutional just devoid of basic dignity

Aaron Rupar

Trump: "We heard in Minnesota there was a cyberattack and they blame it on Iran. I don't think so. I blame it on Minnesota because they're grossly incompetent. Iran's got bigger problems than worrying about Minnesota."

Let me tell you, having chronicled Pentagon-style war game on attacking Iran nearly 25 yr ago, every single "surprise," "darkening turn," "narrowing option," spreading warfare," "rising casualties," "no easy exit," etc that comes drip-by-drip is EXACTLY why GHWB WJC GWB OBAMA BiDEN did NOT do this

Driving off care workers, farm workers, advanced-degree workers, etc. — because of a curdled nativist insistence that walling our economy off will mean better outcomes for themselves, rather than worse outcomes for everybody. Scarcity politics is rotten stuff.

“Trump has rejected disaster aid for Democratic-run states at the highest rate in the 47-year history of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.” Right now people in blue states are basically paying federal taxes as if they’re colonized territories of red states. www.politico.com/news/2026/03...
