I know a lot of people are critical of Nolan for making the Odyssey woke, but there was really no way he could do the "actually war crimes are good" version. The movie simply had to say they are bad.

I think if you have a morally correct position, there were probably at least a few people who held the same position you do.

The Douthat to 60 Minutes news is so darkly hilarious because Bari Weiss' whole origin story thing was that the Times was hopelessly woke and suppressing her. Meanwhile, when she got the chance to make an outlet in her own ideological image, she went straight to the Times opinion page.
