Excellent update from @pathoplexus.org this month. Pathoplexus has been central to data sharing during the ongoing Bundibugyo ebolavirus outbreak response, with ARTIC contributing developer time to Loculus, the platform behind it.

The ARTIC Primer Foundry is now live and will soon begin shipping BDBV primers on request primalscheme.com/orders

Our BDBV resources include guidance on bioinformatic analysis for amplicon data and bait capture, and for data sharing using @pathoplexus.org artic.network/viruses/bdbv...

Various sequencing approaches work for BDBV: amplicon panels (BDBV-specific v1.0.0 & pan-Ebola v2.0.0), bait capture (Twist/Illumina), or metagenomics. Primer schemes are available via labs.primalscheme.com and are being synthesised for free distribution on request via the new ARTIC Primer Foundry
