It's pretty tiresome how, when you bury into the request of someone who asks for 'more realistic gunshot sounds' for a game, what they're asking for is the sound of a gunshot blowing out a tiny smartphone or bodycam microphone, which isn't how guns sound to a person at all.

Yes, there is a carry weight system in the game. Also each piece like that is still going to cost something in resources.

Also I don't really understand Overwatch on the list over TF2, considering the former is a mimic of the form of the latter.

I think it's missing Brink. Brink, despite being terrible, is the originator of the power-slide/mantle that has become omnipresent in FPS since. They weren't first to market with it, but they were the first to show off early devlogs with the features, and then got copied/beaten (by Crysis 2)

I would say im at the beginning of the other end. I was warned by other folks that its: - 3 months til full intensity exercise on it (running, inclines) - 6 months to be at 100% again (if done properly)

It's been about 40 days since I tore my left calf and I was finally able to take an evening walk without any discomfort or stiffness. Going to continue at this mild intensity for another full week before I start gently reintroducing inclines again. I miss my hill walks.

I'm glad that I saved watching Game of Thrones till this specific moment. It was incredibly therapeutic. A useful reminder that despite the world being run by murderous rapist madmen, one can take solace that it doesn't mean anything, won't sum to anything, and will be forgotten.

Steam really has just become Tiktok/Reels. It's just a feed of trend-chasing tag algo-slop. The only difference is that the people making it are losing a catastrophic amount of money/time to take their spin at the wheel of viral opportunity.
