I missed out 6) which is that Nolan's use of Bronze Age material culture (some instantly recognisable, some a bit more allusive/not-quite-right, mixed in with a whole bunch of Not Bronze Age stuff in a fantasy world) is more or less spot on for the Homeric epics' relationship with the Bronze Age
