I appreciate the suggestion! We have something similar, which is why the bank contacted us. But the only way to prevent the scam is to fully take over control of her accounts and remove her independence. Which is what I guess we'll have to do

I can't believe how normalized scamming has become. Nobody answers their phone to unknown phone numbers because it's a Likely Scam. Banks and stores kinda shrug and point you at ways to avoid falling for scams, but clearly view it as your personal responsibility. And AI has made everything worse
