The DoubleFine layoffs hit me hard. They've survived the worst ups & downs of this industry for my entire career, somehow always hanging on & continuing to make their weird, fun little games. Their current precarity hits hard. The games industry has been gutted. The AAA space is unrecognizable to me

My mom almost got taken in by a phone scammer yesterday. Fortunately, the bank thought it was strange that she was suddenly trying to withdraw a huge chunk of $$ and alerted us. She's elderly, confused, and easy prey, so the scammer won't give up. There's so little we can to do to protect her 🙁
