Anytime medicare is in the news it's overwhelmingly framed as a program for seniors. Disabled ppl rely on medicare too but we are routinely left out of the narrative. It's a campaign of systemic ableism that devalues disabled ppl by erasing us - from conversation & subsequently, from the world
