You clearly don't understand how "protected categories" work.

000

You don't have an argument. Every time someone proves you wrong, you dig for excuses to ignore what they bring up as being minor, or exceptions, or otherwise something that can be ignored.

100

There is evidence in favor. You just refuse to accept it.

100

Do you even understand the argument? Can you summarize it accurately?

100

Or they demand that the wrong control group be used! There was a trial that anyone well-versed in the field would recognize as a form of comparing WPATH SOC 6 to WPATH SOC 8. Naysayers said it was meaningless since the SOC 6 group still knew they would eventually get HRT. 🙄

That's not what "it does make a difference" means. You made a broad statement, and that was proven wrong. Switching to a narrower statement and pretending that's what you meant all along is dishonesty.

110

There is *no* evidence against it that can't be traced back to an unrelated cause such as misdiagnosis.

310

It does make a difference. You just wish to ignore it.

Strawman

"Almost binary" isn't "binary." There's no benefit to ignoring the bits that make sex not-binary and no reason to do so that isn't rooted in ideology.

So you're again saying things that aren't 100% true and then complaining when you're called out on it. "Pretty much any" isn't "any". Your questions have been answered. Multiple times. bsky.app/profile/mask...

Depends on whether you believe that "truth" is relative or absolute. If truth can be relative then mostly true. If truth is absolute then always false. Also if your second statement was meant to only sometimes be true, is your first also only sometime true ?

110

You're the one making statements that aren't 100% true and then complaining when people call you out in it.

110

Just because you don't like or understand something does not make it irrational. What *is* irrational is using subjective criteria and pretending that they're objective, as you do when you use terms like "organized around" or "developed towards".

110

Again, you have no evidence of that.

010

All you have are personal attacks and demonstrations showing that you don't understand certain concepts.

130

That isn't what the words you used mean. You didn't say it was a risk. You said it happened. bsky.app/profile/bata...

I am saying your survey is not reliable. It is a self-selecting survey using subjective responses - among people who will be socially conditioned to answer in particular ways. It is piss-poor evidence of anything.

120

No, and no.

110

You absolutely are.

110

And there are transgender people who exist outside of that. What's your point? You still have no evidence that only people conditioned to answer a certain way responded to the survey.

120

You're the one who believes in the thing being critiqued. Can you summarize it?
