Feels like a good feature request, I’ll pass it on. And if anyone knows other systems that do something like this, please post here!

So the only system I’ve seen so far that connects preprints to final articles is our sister team at @dimensions.ai but there must also be others. The missing piece is that there isn’t any sort of alerting system for when a preprint becomes an article but I bet someone can create it with their API.

If and when those inevitable flat-footed accusations come that the populace of any nation our region is not being served by research funding, you want a solid base with which to refute this. Do not underreport what your funding has done. @ec.europa.eu FYI (but you're not alone in this!)

Being able to begin with a funder (or a specific grant) and then find societal re-use is a shortcut to grant effectiveness measurement that fully outpaces what funders know about their own grant performance. Researchers stop reporting to funders what the grant did eventually. We never stop hunting.

One thing we don't talk about enough (too busy meme-ing) is how Altmetric tracks funders. We inherit funder information (including what articles were funded by a grant) from the fulltext monitoring that @dimensions.ai does. So we have this funder and around 100,000 publications they supported.
