Had a moment to read the latest version of the Munich Manifesto for Equitable #OpenResearch. A strong call for institutions, funders, and policymakers to make open research equitable. More thoughts on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/posts/alelaz... #OpenScience
I once challenged myself to finish my 10k race before the winning guy finished his half marathon. Beat him. Absolutely glorious. 😅 I'm all for this strategy.
Michel NivardI wonder if I could run the 100m, 200m, 400m 00m 800m, 1mile, 5k and 10k at half the speed of the current world records… it would be a fun general/allround fitness challenge for anyone under like 45/50, as it puts you in a healthy but not insane speed/pace range.
Reposting this primarily because "I'm a little middle author" part made me chuckle in the best way possible.
Ted SchwabaNew meta by @peterhaehner.bsky.social et al (I'm a little middle author) on individual differences in personality change across the lifespan (229 studies, N = 230k) 10.1037/bul0000525 Cool finding (imo): For all Big Five, variance in change is greatest in youth, declining through young adulthood!
"What color are my eyes?" ⛔ "How do you spell my name?" ✅
Aleksandra Lazić, PhDThere are infinite ways to misspell my name and somehow you people find all of them. 😅 www.linkedin.com/posts/alelaz...

Adding this to my To Read list. Unfortunately, even just the abstract will teach you more than most people know. #OpenScience
Dr Madeleine PownallNew paper! Values such as openness, transparency, collaboration, clarity about conflict of interests have been promoted by women for *decades*, and now we have reframed this around the branding of 'open science' that we start to take them seriously. journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/...
Where's the evidence that respondents understand your survey questions? I'd say nowhere, but glad some people took this question more optimistically and constructively. 😃 Cognitive debriefing, automated: gking.harvard.edu/debrief/
