I draw mazes, play guitar, blog, garden, build LEGO, like Batman & Star Wars... like every other approaching-50-year-old. https://linktr.ee/aixelsyd13 | http://aixelsyd13.com

This is it. My MIJ Strat is probably the most expensive guitar I own, maybe ither than the BC Rich Dagger.

At any rate, don't stage dive if it's not a packed house & people aren't ready for you ...or if your bass player is the only one paying attention to you.

Life is weird. During my nose being bandaged, I remember meeting the Eyeliners at Laga... and I remember singing "I Turned Into A Martian" with Jerry, Doyle, & Goat at the Crowbar in State College after Michale and Chud had left the Misfits. Those are probably stories for another time.

I also remember the pain meds not really making any pain go away, but just making me not care that it hurt.

The surgery to re-break it and put it back in the middle if my face was like a week out. It hurt MUCH more when they put it back, and the packing inside was like two long straight tampons that I would NEVER believed would fit up there, not the gauze style stuff.

I worked nights on the assembly line at Sony making big screen rear-projection TV's at that point in life. I remember having to go in to work with a broken nose for a few days and just absolutely weirding everyone out.

I drove to the hospital as I didn't want to explain the way to Andy and it was familiar territory to me to get to Forbes in Monroeville. I probably should not have driven, looking back. But does the story so far indicate any rational decision making?

I am guessing I was in shock. The break apparently was at the exact angle that cut off whatever blood should have been spewing out.

The pretend kick landed... with a crunch. Slightly stunned, I kind of stood there and asked Andy if he thought my nose was broken. The color absolutely leaving his face answered before his mouth did.

Who WAS in the crowd paying attention to my shenanigans was good friend, bass player, enabler, and fellow shenanigans enthusiast Andy (An-Die Dyslexic). Andy thought it would be funny to mock kick me as I flew like a dumbass face first into the wholly unbothered crowd.

I do remember jumping off the stage into a crowd absolutely not thick enough to or primed for catching me.

That's awsome. I have a penchant for weirdo guitars. That hits the mark!
