i've never laughed at a single moment of his "comedy", find him insufferable. good to see he's found a new arc of "that douchebag in highschool that wants to fight everyone because he's insecure", so now i can have another reason for said insufferability
i liked it in Alien Isolation because the aesthetic was to give it the filmic effect of the movies
however, 99% of games use it for no reason and it just causes eye strain, like motion blur
from Wikipedia: In optics, chromatic aberration (CA), also called chromatic distortion, color aberration, color fringing, or purple fringing, is a failure of a lens to focus all colors to the same point.
basically, in games, is used to add an effect as if viewing through a poor-quality lens
for context, my build is actually Poison Reaper/Phantasms with Soulwrest, and my merc only is there to make me tanky and help with clear. i only have the unique ring/weapon specc'd but her damage is great in reds anyway
reddit's takes are somehow even worse this league than they've always been🤡
won't even be a big loss for the consumer, anything m$ produces these days is bound to have a ton of genAI-slop anyway
so i'm all for watching these companies continue to shoot themselves in the foot and then blame the players for their slide into irrelevance
miss the hell out of Splinter Cell, used to make Expert guides on YouTube for Chaos Theory (what a master class in stealth design)
thank goodness we still have Hitman WoA, but i do itch for the days of SC and MGS
i really need to get on that MGS3 remake soon...
I'm going to guess that after that one year of free access, heavy restrictions apply unless you agree to allow all data to train the models
it's cute that it's "off by default" but i bet they give incentives to turn it on and the license has loopholes for them to claim your data anyway
huge trap 👎
i turned the ai flags in chrome off a few months ago and deleted the local model it stored on my pc. chrome updated and put all that shit back. now chrome is gone completely.
