i want a new 2D Contra game gimme Shattered Soldier 2

i wish #Hades2 had a demo i bounced hard off the first one in the multiple times i've tried to play it, but the second looks like enough changes happened to the combat that it's unique from the first one i just have no way to try it and see (frankly, demos of all games should be mandatory)

EA continues its perpetual arc of "let's make sure the entire gaming world despises our guts but it doesn't matter cuz slop enjoyers will still buy the same sports games year after year to keep us afloat"

i have stellar blade on my to-play list, and i still will, but after today's news about the sequel, i don't care if it ends up being my favorite spectacle fighter ever, i will NEVER touch the sequel or anything else that studio produces now. once you cross that line, you cannot be trusted ever again

#PathOfExile launch went pretty smooth except for a bumpy start with the queues Luminary Scion is in maps, fully respecc'd (unless i forgot smth), and i dropped a Cloak of Flames so if i can sell it that's a good early league boost and i can start buying the *checks* SEVEN uniques i need.. oh.. 😰

congrats to these devs, Grim Dawn is an excellent game in the #ARPG genre if you're a fan of Path of Exile, Diablo 2, or Last Epoch and you haven't played Grim Dawn, what are you waiting for!? Go check it out!!

the only real problem they had with the gm tools being used to cheat in wow was that it wasn't making Blizzard money if it was sodapoppin they would've done nothing bc he makes them money despite being a cheating, rmt-ing, zero-integrity f*ckstick

if you complain about lootbox odds in league i want to remind you that riot sells 500 dollar pixels and runs kernel-level anticheat giving you value for your time/money is at the absolute bottom of their priority list and you have no one to blame but yourselves for letting them treat you that way

basically, games made with passion resonate with players. games made to chase money, are slop. world needs more Miyamotos
