People who don't like Whitechapel are telling on themselves.

N.b., I love my neighbourhood otherwise and don't tolerate shit talking about it, I ghosted a guy the other day who started going off about how "dirty" it is. I'll have you know I haven't had slurs shouted at me from cars once since moving here! Not once!

Three stores later I find them at a Polish supermarket practically next door to where I normally get them. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk, "Whitechapel sucks for coffee"

The British ignorance around all things coffee isn't the top thing I dislike about living here, but it's in the top 20

Another pound store and two more supermarkets; nada. I've been advised to buy online. 😡

I've decided it's a nice day and I'm going to explore locally to see if there's somewhere closer. So far have tried two super markets, three dollar stores and am about to check a Londis

Dominos Thin Crust is amazing as pizza-that-isn't-quite-pizza, it's less a pizza and more an open faced sandwich or something. Which isn't to knock it! I get very specific cravings for it sometimes, it's genuinely good if you don't want a whole ass pizza

I also like pineapple on pizza, eat my ass.

My most cancellable opinion is that Neapolitan style is boring and I'll take any godforsaken American thick-crusted monstrosity over it any day of the week

I tried decalcifying it which somehow made it worse and then there was a big "pop" sound and it started draining from the bottom of the machine

This is exactly what I'm taking about. BBC downplays attendance by an order of magnitude and then gives one of the most incomprehensibly confusing explanations about why it drew record attendance. Absolutely pathetic. mu.social/profile/naff...

And that's the whole damn problem. We can have 150k people marching in 30°C weather and maybe The Indy and Evening Standard will say anything. We'll get more coverage in *foreign media* than our own. That's absolutely criminal, and it's a big part of why our rights are in decline: we have no voice.
