Russia plans to continue the war in Ukraine for up to 3 years; meanwhile the US isn’t scheduled to release significant funding, $400M, to Ukraine until 2029. The US is also offering Russia billions in illegal funds if they pause or “end the war”, which Russia would use to extend the war.
