"Could not unzip extension" Chrome 116.0.5845.187 MacOS 10.13.6

I don't control the chrome extension store. Chrome 116 is three years old though, so that's probably it.

Unfortunately, I can't upgrade any higher on this old laptop.

it took me a while but i found the issue. Our Brazilian Portugese translation file was in the folder "pt_br" instead of "pt_BR". This folder didn't change between releases so I don't know why it suddenly started failing I have to await a chrome review before I can submit the new version.
