"Gender war" mentality got them to think women are the secret master puppeteers of society and THEY WILL lawfare over any minor inconvenience and they will have no resources because men are perceived as fundamentally predatory and EVIL.
It's patriarchy and the no part is because it actually runs deeper and this seeps into causes for transphobic discourse within the lgbtq community - as if trans women had inherent "predatory tendencies" from "male socialization" or if transmasculinity meant the "yearning for predation".
You see both pieces of (shit) discourse floating around from time to time. A reductionist view will lead the analysis to gravitate back to patriarchal tendencies.
