I felt this viscerally. Was it old or new Pyrex? It doesn't really matter, I'm weird. The new stuff, all lower case logo, is more impact resistant. The old stuff, all upper case logo, is more thermal shock resistant. I prefer the old stuff, but both have their qualities. Neither is fun to clean up.
