I left a minimum wage job to go work for them because I got paid $4 an hour more, and being union meant we got raises and some of the best health insurance I've ever had. I'm not going to cape for a corporation, but they didn't pay minimum wage.
Will Borger28 июл., 10:30The company also took park safety seriously because 1. People dying in your theme park is bad press and they want people to come back 2. They got sued for ridiculous stuff quite literally all the time. Y'all would not believe some of the stories I heard re: lawsuits.
Jeff28 июл., 15:56My wife used to have Disney as an insurance client. They had pretty damn good coverage for employees and she loved saving employees money.
Jason Maxwell28 июл., 17:38I have, and will, say a lot of negative things about Disney over the years but my mother-in-law worked for them for 16 years, the last of which was her fight against lymphoma. I can't say enough good things about how Disney handled that and has treated my father-in-law after her passing.

Bails ☭28 июл., 19:31That’s all well and good but if you’re from where I’m from, minimum wage is still $7.25 so that would be $11.25/hr, that’s not a livable wage by any stretch of the imagination
