Well, well, well...Jeff Flake has spinal integrity after all! Good news! Never forget he's partially responsible for Gorsuch!

Ответ для leftaz

He also voted for “I like beer” after pretending that he might not. He’s just as fake as Tillis and Cornyn.

Seriously guys? Flake constantly lives up to his surname as a half measure coward. This doesn’t move the needle at all! Ossoff’s talent and hard work is doing that.

W

Does anyone care what Jeff Flake thinks about anything?

Found an actual Republican. Count now up to 1.

Brett fucking kavanaugh....

GA Vote Ossoff

Do the people of Georgia care what a former senator from Arizona thinks?

This. Conservatives on mass have proven how unreliable they are. You can't trust a conservative anymore. Anyone who claims to be is either lying or ignorant or a criminal. 😂 Most people just use the name conservative without thinking and it shows.

Ответ для Aandy Herr

If ONLY they knew the definition. They like small government changes. Trump isn't a small change. Nor is he a Republican. They lost their own identity. Democrats are not far behind.

Trump is a republican and every republican is a demon

Ответ для Anonymous Vegeta 🪖🗽🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇦

I'm afraid Democrats are just spineless, but I'll take pretty much anything else but child jRAPIST republicans rn.

So now we need Sen. Flake to come over here to GA and start stumping for Jon. NOW!!

Thank you, Senator Flake!

I like Ossoff but he needs to listen to the American people & stop taking AIPAC money.

So, you’re not a Christian?

Flake wants to run for president one day and he's trying to look like a big tent kinda guy. That ship sailed with every pro Trump vote he made.

Flakey Flake: An irrelevant loser trying to grab the spotlight from a person doing what Flake never did while in office. Why is anyone still speaking to this clown?

Jon should meet that endorsement with a, "Thank you, but no thank you."

Flake is a two-faced snake in the grass that would trade his mother for a pair of magic underwear. Just sayin.

Ответ для Saint Sherman - The Ultimate Patriot

Most Mormons hate MAGA with a passion. Jeff Flake is definitely trying something snakey, but in his case it's not shivving Democrats so much as it's setting himself up as a potential Never Trump Republican presidential candidate for 2028.

Nice 👏 Every bit helps

Ответ для dabxdee

Flake said things like this…and then always did the opposite. Stuck with Trump 100%

Ответ для D A N the Beav 🦫

He needs to disconnect from being republicans and stop supporting trump if he truly believes it...

Supporting Jon Ossoff in this election has nothing to do w/ Flake's past behavior, or votes. He's meeting the moment & I appreciate that. Don't care what he's done in the past, won't care if he turns against Ossoff in the future. All I care about is getting good ppl elected all over the country rt now

Conservation matters too - leaving a swath of destruction in the “Resident’s sewage wake” has nothing to do with conservation - It’s the deliberate destruction of a hostile foreign power’s enemy

Why can't they find their moral compass while *in* office?

Ответ для Dan🌹🔵🌊🇺🇸

Myq exact sentiments

When a Republican endorses a Democrat citing “character,” it’s like a legacy system finally getting a security patch. Rare, overdue, and you just hope it’s not too late.

Jeff Flake, welcome to the resistance.

If corruption is the biggest issue, please consider the Senate race in Texas, Mr. Flake! The corruption divide doesn’t get bigger than Talarico and Paxton.

Love it! He says he’s still one of them to keep his family safe

#georgia Collins works for Trump NOT #georgians & Trump Economy UNAFFORDABLE Collins gave $1TRILLION Tax Cuts to OLIGARCHS NOT Georgians Collins hasn't lower Groceries/Gas prices or Healthcare costs for Georgians Collins is corrupt & works for OLIGARCHS OSSOFF is honest & works for Georgia #usa

I’m still a living, breathing human being & your endorsement is interesting but if u said “I’m a conservative Republican & the current occupant of the WH is a fascist authoritarian, therefore I endorse any candidate who has the courage to say the same. I would take your word much more seriously

Jeff Flake is hardly qualified to measure a man's character. He ran like a mongrel pup when things started to turn to shit. Wrote a a tweet about it and disappeared into the sunset. Let's just say that he couldn't endorse another GOP moron for Senate. That's not a hard decision to make.

Even some within the Republican Party can’t stand it anymore and have started supporting the Democratic candidate.👍

Wow.... it's an elusive "normal republican". I thought they were extinct.

Geez, talk about your kiss of death.

I know flake - good guy. Biden gave him an appointment as ambassador to Turkey.

If he is STILL a Republican, I have no interest in anything Jeff Flake has to say.

Yeah he’s got a long way to go to salvage his reputation

You cannot claim to be a Republican and claim decency The Grand ol Party now officially supports a convicted sexual abuser serial liar and Psychopath. They have zero integrity and zero credibility

Okay, but fuck you Jeff Flake for pretending that your exit from the Senate when faced with a felon and rapist as your party's leader ran over the rule of law was heroic. He bailed. NOW he says he is still a conservative? Coward starts with the same two letters & is a much more accurate description.

Got news for him. That political party he think he’s part of - “Conservative Republican” - no longer exists.

Ответ для BlueAnon

“Conservative Republican” and “fiscal conservative” have always been the cover for KKK, white christian nationalist.

Ответ для jane of the plains

For many, definitely. I have friends who describe themselves as fiscal conservatives who are as disgusted with that shit as I am though. And those people have no party anymore.

They forced out the Republicans who believe in the institutions. But good on him for endorsing Democrats.

You can be a conservative or a Republican. You can't be both these days.

Republican recognizes a republican. Begging liberals to stop getting duped by Jon Ossoff. He is functionally a republican. He has one of the worst voting records in the senate, and is TO THE RIGHT of Chuck Schumer.

How can you still be a Republican then? Cult behavior?

I don't think this is a good thing. Flake was a spineless man. His take on "character" isn't exactly a ringing endorsement to Dems on the fence about Ossoff.

..for what it’s worth (?)

Too bad you didn’t do things like this when you were in office. You VOTED with Trump all the time.

Funny how these guys only manage to grow a spine after they leave office.

Ответ для steve3797

The truly sad part of that photo is all the women standing there supporting the rapists!

Ответ для youvotedforthis2

.. It's all "sad" .. I have been around plenty long enough to see the steady decline in the US American's Morals .. They just have different goals than us ..

Ответ для steve3797

I dunno if I feel bad for them. They made choices & if they say everyone is responsible for their decisions, then so are they. I also know these kind of women. They don’t seem to mind marrying ppl like date r*pists and such. Watched it in real time of quite a few of their type’s wedding invitations…

Too bad he didn't feel the same way when he was in office

Stop aligning yourself with the Republican party, Flake. Be a conservative all you want, but you have no party. You and Kasich keep demanding that a Republican is what you want it to be, but that doesn't work anymore. The brand is dead.

Ответ для HolyGuacamole2!

"independent conservative" would be a better term, independent in that they can actually think for themselves rather than just doing what trump tells them to like all the gop in congress.

Ответ для Angus Ross

It's worked for me for almost 25 years. I left the GOP in 2002, dropped all party affiliations, and now I vote solely for the candidate, not the party.

Ответ для HolyGuacamole2!

Next step, support @starvoting.bsky.social and increase your choices.

Ответ для Angus Ross

Unfortunately “independent” is all too often used by people who want to see themselves as rugged individualists, but they just so happen to consistently support Republicans. See also: libertarian.

Ответ для Patrick

Or they think for themselves and vote for the best candidate. I would call myself a solid moderate these days because "conservative" doesn't mean anything close to what it once did.

Ответ для HolyGuacamole2!

Flake : “I liked us when we were quietly corrupt. Can we go back to flying under the radar?”

Flake talking about character? Oy.

All the good republicans with morals and integrity are gone.

Ответ для Michele ✌️💙

Those qualities are antithetical to the Republiclan party. (Not a typo.)

Interesting take considering Flake was a spineless piece of shit while in office

👀

I don’t care what he thinks. He voted to give Brett Kavanaugh a lifetime appointment.

While I'm glad that more conservatives are seeing the difference between dignity and blind obedience, I wish the ones who are actively sitting in Congress would speak up.

YASSSS! We need more of this. The GOP is no longer a viable political party. It is a Nazi cesspool!

Ответ для Middlerage

No, we don't.. the DEMS don't need to offer lifeboats to the ex-GOPers.. maybe the Ex-GOPers need to follow Carville's advice.. find their own party.

Ответ для Atrocitus

WE NEED TO DO WHATEVER WE CAN TO WIN. Period.

Ответ для Middlerage

You don't bring Wolves into the HenHouse thinking it will help the Hens.

Ответ для Atrocitus

No Dems are bringing Jeff Flake into any henhouse. They’re just smart enough ti know his endorsement mignt give some Republicans sitting watching television at home the impetus to do the right thing and follow his example.

Ответ для Expatina

They tried that in 2016 and 2024... How'd that work out? Stop trying to convince the GOP to vote for them.. How about getting back to common sense working class policies instead.. why is that so hard?

Ответ для Middlerage

You’re being far too nice!

Good deal. 👏👏🙂💙 #MidTerms

These guys think passage of time erases memory. We once called him Flaky Flake for a reason. Every one of the so-called conservative republicans contributed to this current fuckery we are in. *Confirmed Kavanaugh *Trump $1.5T tax cuts *Backed Obamacare repeal *Killed Obama internet privacy rules

SCUM finally finds a conscience

I sorely miss the likes of Jeff Flake in the Senate..

cindy mc cain endorsing ossoff will send meghan into a spiral.

Not sure if Flake is relevant to anything anymore, but if it helps, hopefully he’ll do the same for Talarico!

Seems like once the people are out of office, they magically become Democrats. I don’t care that he SAYS he’s still a Republican, he’s not.

I can hear him slurring now.... "Oh the Flake. Flakey-flake is what I call him. I make up names. Oh the Flakey-flake. A lot of people say he....you know...you...flake is a weird word. Oh they like to say weird, don't they? Don't they? Fake news. Flakey-flake."

Wow! There's another R that uses COMMON SENSE!

If you describe yourself as a conservative Republican, then character does not matter.

Funny how Flake found his moral compass after he left Office.

Texas and Georgia have the two most corrupt politicians running for U.S. Senate seats - Paxton and Collins.

Ответ для D.C.

There are no "conservative republicans." It's a myth.

Flake needs to go away

Character doesn't matter for the REPUBLICANS, they voted in Trump, they voted in Pete Hegseth, they voted in RFK Jr, they voted in Bessent & Lutnick, they voted in Bondi & Noem. Character does matter to Americans, which is why we will use the ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BLUE WAVE, to flush away the RED STAIN!

In today’s deeply divided America, we urgently need more initiatives like this.

Ответ для Dolphin

Absolutely. It is not D or R anymore, it is about Right vs Wrong in the most basic form.

Evidently they get their testicles back when they leave Congress. 🤷🏻‍♀️

YAY‼️‼️

He could have just spoken to his friends in GA and tried to convince them to vote for Ossoff, and not said anything publicly.

I am all in on team Ossoff, but let's try and remember the former senator's last name is uncannily apt. Get someone bigger and better from that side of the field.

He lost me at “I’m a conservative Republican”.

That’s awesome 👏💙

Years ago we had respect for Flake...until he flaked and showed his true colors. This is a questionable endorsement.

Ответ для Jeri Westerson

Exactly. I suppose he's trying to convince Repubs to sway towards Ossoff, but I think it does the opposite for Dems who aren't sure about Ossoff. I don't like Flake. An endorsement from him makes me want to really dissect Ossoff.

Ответ для St⭐rry✨

This is just Flake feeling lonely and wanting in on a news cycle. He’s a has- been loser and knows he has zero sway w GA republicans. He’s not Georgian. No one cares what the Flake thinks about anything-then or now.

But this needs to be explained

Why would these people even matter? F him

And who is his endorsement supposed to influence? The intersection of people who can still be persuaded of anything with people who know who Jeff Flake is (and care about his opinion) with people registered to vote in GA is likely 0…

I live in Arizona now, have for 12 years. I wasn't here when former Senator Jeff Flake represented #Arizona in Congress. A conservative with proven integrity and ethics is someone I will listen to.

Ответ для Louise

Then don’t believe anything Jeff Flake says… he’s of weak character, even though he says “character matters”.

Ответ для Woke Is Me

Since I wasn't here during his tenure is does he say one thing and actually his actions carry out another thing altogether?

Ответ для Louise

His last name describes him perfectly.

Ответ для Woke Is Me

I totally agree. Can we follow each other? Gentleman

Oh, character matters, does it, Jeff? Too bad you didn't think so when you voted to put Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court.

This is a man who could run for President. Reminds me of JFK.

Well now

Ответ для lisaandotis

He endorsed Talarico too. I think he recognizes that some people's character is just totally unsuitable for government.

Why is Flake endorsing a Georgia Senator rather than working hard to get MAGA Republicans out of Arizona offices? When you right the wrongs of what you have done, then you deserve the credit. Not just safely endorsing someone that doesn't cost you anything. Do better, Flake!

Please re explain what a conservative Republican means bc I'm not seeing any of what I believe that to be in this administration. Kudos to endorsing Ossoff. He seems like he really understands the hardships impacting so many today. Time will tell...

well well well, now isn't he a flake, he can't be a local Venice cafe

👏👏👏👏

Good for Flake. Question is does anyone care what Flake has to say

When Jeff Flake was in the Senate, he worked *across the aisle* with Democrats. He was good friends with Senator Chris Coons ,who is a democrat, and who is still in office. Jeff Flake left the Senate in Trump’s first term, because he saw”the writing on the wall”. He is a * John McCain* Republican.

Jeff Flake has always impressed me as a reliably principled conservative. You know, like John McCain 👍🏼

Ответ для Bullet aka Bill Hauer

Except McCain would back his words up with votes. Flake never did when it mattered. He did the Collins concern interview then voted with MAGA, then quit versus fight that movement.

Where has he been hiding all this time?

🤐

Absolutely agree

He lost me at I’m still a conservative republican. Anyone still a republican anything after all the crimes and pedophilia is a problem.

Ответ для Blue Feral

This. Pedophile Republican conservatives will just lie. When you work with criminals long enough, you realize their words mean nothing but to use you. Don't trust him. He's a pedo supporter and that's all we need to know...

Ответ для Blue Feral

Being endorsed by a republican is a huge red flag for me. I’m having flashbacks of Kamala campaigning with the Cheneys. Like, these people do not help you with your base.

Ответ для chloecatvt

Jon Ossoff will most likely overcome that. Jeff Flake needs to go play shuffleboard or sumn.

Ответ для chloecatvt

Flake is presumably not going to campaign with Ossoff and the problem with Cheney was that to most normal people she was her father's daughter and not much else.

Ответ для minion of midas

Also, Cheney disagrees with everything democrats stand for.

Ответ для chloecatvt

Yes, but getting an endorsement from a Conservative you wouldn't want to support, but who ruined her career by standing up to Trump, would not be a problem if she'd been just about anybody else. Opposition to the prototrumpian Dubya admin is foundational for so many mill/younger X Democratic voters.

Ответ для minion of midas

I guess I’m thinking about the part where she’s anti choice, loves war and supports genocide.

Ответ для chloecatvt

Yeah, all great reasons not to lionize her or - God forbid - run her as a Democrat. I'm just more interested in why she cost Harris votes - and why centrist insiders still can't see that (they see her own record where lower info voters mostly saw her dad's and also nepotism.)

Ответ для minion of midas

Why are we wasting energy on Liz Cheney? She isn’t even talking right now. Like beetle juice, best to let her lie where she fell. She did participate on the J6 committee though. In spite of it costing her seat. So let’s leave her in the past.

Ответ для minion of midas

I don’t know for a fact that it did cost her votes, but Dems have a habit of always chasing these mythical swing voters in the suburbs who lean republican but will vote for a dem who sounds like a republican. I’m not sure they exist anymore.

Ответ для chloecatvt

Suck down more leftist propaganda why don’t you

Ответ для chloecatvt

She was fucking going after the independent/further right vote what’s wrong with that? Cheney lost her job because she voted for impeachment.

Ответ для Bowiegrrl

It doesn’t work reliably so we keep losing.

Ответ для chloecatvt

Do you understand that Georgia is a purple state? What that means is that he will need some moderate Republicans to vote for him. In fact, that’s why Kamala campaigned with Cheney. Better to be pure than win elections, I guess.

Ответ для Sandra Catania

Georgia is a low turnout state. They lost a house seat in special election because only 25% or so could bother to get to the polls. If they show up, they will win. If turnout continues the way it’s been for special and primary elections, it could go the other way. There are no moderate republicans.

Ответ для Blue Feral

Relying on unreliable voters sounds like a winning strategy.

Ответ для Sandra Catania

Catering to Nazi’s is definitely not going to do it. I’m sorry, what was your election strategy experience?

Ответ для Blue Feral

Over 25 years in Democratic campaigns, including working on the statewide ballot initiative in Michigan that enshrined reproductive rights in the state constitution. What’s yours?

Ответ для Sandra Catania

None. I wasn’t advocating voting strategy. So did you work on the VP Harris campaign or the we won’t vote campaign? Your comments kind of echo Carville.

Ответ для Blue Feral

I worked on the One Campaign in 2024, which is organized by the MDP to support every Democrat on the ballot. That’s likely what I’ll be doing in November as well. I am a pragmatist when it comes to politics - the candidate should fit the district. I hate when candidates hire outside consultants.

Ответ для Sandra Catania

Regardless, we have to keep the stare senate and regain the state house

Ответ для Sandra Catania

The campaign team should know the community they are operating in. That’s why has been the downfall of Democratic campaigns in Michigan. Parachuting people in from NYC, LA, and DC and they don’t know anyone or anything about the place.

Ответ для Blue Feral

I wish I could laugh react this

Ответ для Sandra Catania

Relying on lean GOP voters doesn’t seem reliable either considering who’s prez.

Ответ для Sandra Catania

But she didn’t win. And neither did HRC with a similar strategy. I just think it makes more sense to target younger voters and spend more on turnout.

Ответ для chloecatvt

But maybe if your base is in Georgia it doesn’t hurt.

Ответ для Brooke Adams

Jon doesn’t need help to win, especially from a washed up republican who helped to overturn Roe. I protested at his office before the Kavanaugh vote. He’s no friend to Dems.

Ответ для Blue Feral
Ответ для Blue Feral

He’s a Mormon. This is to indicate to others in the group that they can stop fighting in this race and should turn to fighting others. Republicans will still vote Republican

"The house is all messed up and it is time to put others in to clean it up"

Not happy Flake left because he couldn't stand up to donald. Leaving his seat available for a maganut.

Wow. Never would have thought to see sth like this happening.

People like Jeff need to be called out, and need to be pulled aside to be explained how their faulty ways led to systemic racism in the US.

What the hell would Flake know about character?

Ответ для Robin she/her 🏳️‍🌈

Well he's more of a traditional money hungry I don't wanna pay taxes republican as opposed to the bat shit culture warrior nut jobs we have now. You can at least work with someone who's just greedy

There's still a few Republicans not afraid of Trump.

Ty, darling Jeff Flake

Cue Drumpf ripping Jeff Flake into shreds on Lies Social with some sophomoric nickname like JEFF “WEAK AS SNOW” FLAKE

He did and said nothing when it mattered. He's a coward.

don’t vote for Blanche then…

Ответ для Max Damage

Um, Flake is a _former_ senator, so he won't be voting for anyone, and the chances of Ossoff voting for Blanche are zero/zip/nada, so I don't know who you're talking to.

Ossoff will be our next president

This is the opposite of good optics. Anyone picking up endorsements from folks who cling to or were ever involved with the fascist party is suspect.

Flake ran the Goldwater Institute, so hold onto the kudos. Flake is also from a 5-gen LDS political family that knows which way the wind is blowing.

OK Thanks for stating the obvious Jeff. Ossoff. However, you are certainly aptly named. By the way, there are no conservative Republicans. The GOP is in a narcissist's monster cult, subservient to a moronic bully. There is no legitimate argument to align with the cult.

Okay, cool.

This is great. What astonishes me is how, in this time and space, Mr Flake can still call himself a Republican. 😳

Back when Republicans were actually Republicans.

I’ll endorse Ossoff also! He actually cares and doesn’t have any trouble telling it like it is! His opponent makes Trump look like a normal person, and we know that’s not true! Vote Democratic!

Who gives a shit about Jeff Flake?

Says the guy who enabled what got us here. Lmao

He's still a flake.

That's incredible. But I would have expected more of that back when I thought Republicans had integrity. I now realize that 90% of Republicans have zero for integrity.

"Conservative" is not what it used to mean. It now means crazy far-right-nut who believes women shouldn't have any rights, and the LGBT+ should be in prison. It means rich men run the USA.

Note that he’s “former”. Doesn’t mean much when they do it in the cowardly way rather then when they are actually in the senate. But then again the GOP is filled with cowards.

Jon Ossoff is meeting the moment. Keep an eye on him. Replicate his strategy and messaging.

Back-in-the-day I (F/16) asked a question of my US History teacher who was also my Civics teacher. He publicly shamed, ridiculed & mocked me for asking if a representative from a different party would ever endorsed someone outside of their party. And yet...Here we are. Also Fuck you Mr. Turner.

Flake says “character matters” but we all remember how he “cried” during the senate confirmation hearing when those mean women accused Kavanaugh of serious sexual improprieties hurt his most tender feelings. Fuck Flake… Ossoff does not need his endorsement.

That’s wild.

Wow. A repub for whom character still matters. Who knew? Not I. Kudos to his courage.👏 #USA🇺🇸

That Kavanaugh vote will haunt Flake til his dying day

Another one with no balls.

Oh boy, tЯump is gonna come up with all sorts of childish names for this one. 🤣🤣

Good. Hes not evil, unlike Jeff McCarthy. Both kicked from their seats respectively and one knows that the only enemy are the insane people destroying our country.

Says a guy who wouldn't stand up to trump either. #Coward

Right. You were so unpopular as a Senator that you didn’t seek re-election. You knew we would kick you to the curb if you ran again.

Go. Away.

Jeff Flakes endorsement is worth less than Whitmer’s. But okay.

I don’t think the ‘institution’ is the important thing. The Constitution, the rule of law and the citizens of this country are what is important. But anyone supporting the right things is good. Not in any way making him a hero though!

Well Well Well- whataya know...

This government right now is not a conservative Republican so I thank him for realizing that.

More of this is sorely needed in an America so divided

Huh….maybe slightly more expected on the bravery front being an EX Senator but still good to see regardless.

1. GET REGISTERED AND VOTE 2. START LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT we need to get out there and start looking someone, they have the money, but we have the people who can get out there and spread the word, we have to start NOW so everyone knows who to vote for when the time comes

Jeff Flake is my favorite republican.

Bravo for standing up for your convictions Senator Flake

To fight the corruption in our system, we need people of good character from both sides of whatever issue

Ya know..even an endorsement has to be about the Republican endorsement of themselves..do people see how ludicrous this Statement is..I am sure Ossoff was not impressed privately..

Good job Jeff… from a AZ 🌵dem

I seriously doubt that this will be helpful for Ossoff.

File under: WHO IS JEFF FLAKE?

Imagine still calling yourself a Republican.

Unfortunately, character doesn't matter to MAGA voters.

Former Arizona Sen Flake famously partnered with the late Sen McCain in Dec 2014 to attach a last-minute legislative rider to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This rider authorized the controversial land exchange that traded federal Apache sacred land at Oak Flat to Resolution Copper.

They're coming "home" to roost. Every single R he had voted out, smeared, attacked, doxxed or bullied will be seeking revenge. "Character matters" is the best reason to hop the line. Rs have none.

This makes me trust ossoff less

Flake is another republican who found has spine as he was headed out the door.
