well....I suppose this is not all that helpful but I know nothing about it either, but i DID have the first Goonies NES game, and besides having some typically bad control, it was kind of an interesting puzzler, and I recall getting some good mileage from it. best of luck!

The game really captures that magical scene from the movie where Mikey punched a defenseless person 5 times to get a candle.

It's so odd that they didn't put the first game on a cartridge for the US but released it only on the Playchoice 10 arcade units or something.

I beat this game! It took me forever but it is a core memory. Plus the girls just want to have fun midi playing the whole time!

I love the part where they time-travel back into the original 1985 film and try to get the Sports Almanac from Troy.
