Does she fight it in the text of the movie? Or are you seeing it as mud in the eye of the misogynists who felt threatened by the movie?
Is there another type of movie that fields these features for you?
I guess the reason i also ask too is that, if the genre is inherently misogynistic, then does it count as an example of the superhero genre itself? Or is she not a superhero because the movies themselves are inherently anti-feminist?
I think it’s important to differentiate genre and fans.
