Can you think of a movie/ tv trope that is a wildly inaccurate representation of what they’re trying to depict? For me, it’s science stuff . They’ll show a scientist and say something like “ he has a ph. D in molecular biology “ and then have him solving physics or organic chemistry problems

Almost any movie about space travel—in particular, a spaceship in orbit that runs out of fuel does not immediately “fall out of orbit.” Orbits are stable trajectories! That‘s the whole point! Without station-keeping maneuvers, it’ll eventually decay due to drag, but that’ll be a VERY long time.
