He'll be back. Or rather, he's still around. He hasn't resigned from his mandate just from the one position. People like him are superglued to their seats and he's now nicely positioned as the alternative to Merz once the current coalition collapses.

He’s an utter wrong ‘un and the outrageous part isn’t his role in dodgy ppe procurement per se, it’s that he hasn’t been investigated and possibly prosecuted if the investigation were to find illegality. The system ain’t working to stop the likes of Spahn.
