Strange how the farming focused article switches to public health during heat waves in the final 3 paragraphs. Also, weird that NFU Pres says “It does feel like there is going be some shortages of [food] products.” I mean "feels"?? Surely there is actual math on stockpiles and yields UK + global.

and this happening at the same time as droughts in France, Spain, Germany, production collapse in Russia, Hormuz blockade and record el Niño. This doesn't look good...

All of this is serious, but I can’t see any mention of Defra suppressing a report on food security. What’s the context?
