Do try to remember that the EHRC guidance only affects service providers and not employment, so if you work somewhere where there are toilets or changing rooms for employees that aren’t open to the public then your employers are wrong if they try to stop you from using facilities for your gender

Which is a novel way to behave for an organisation that has blathered about "Stonewall law." They're far more aggressive in pushing their interpretation than Stonewall ever was. Evil fuckers.

Given the GC case against Stonewall for allegedly inducing discrimination I wonder if they’re opening themselves up to the same charge at some point…

Possibly because there have been multiple reports of out trans women being erroneously told by their managers that they must use gender neutral or accessible toilets on a different floor or in a different building to where they usually work
