Even the idea that it "makes stuff up" is giving it too much credit. It literally can't think. Calling it "intelligence" of any kind is ceding ground to its misleading marketing. It's all just fancy autocomplete. Nobody in their right mind would ask their phone's autocomplete for advice.

Well, tbh, that's how human memory works on microlevel too. Thing is.. it's problem of scale. That single squishy lump of potein potentailly assembles and recombines more data than all data centers in USA together.

You're forgetting that even walking is quite complicated. Then add in each sense we have plus communications, etc. I can see it being close to or even higher.

Because its BIOCHEMISTRY. Last time I checked electronics dont move or transform matter. Is a computer building itself like a single cell constructs a whole human? Do electronics move like neurons move into place and dynamically reach out to each other?

Riight, because it's both chemical and electrical. We actually experimented with chemcal-based computers which are somewhere between quantum and other analog devices in their quality. Average person process about 70Gb/s data in binary eq., of which is only 50kbit/s is conscious sensory.

Although trained person can mutiply that last number and ones in good heath can have a higher input rate - while average human would struggle to spot a 0.05s long event, a pilot of a jet fighter is able to spot 0.0039s event. Above numbers rely on the fact that brain operates on 1% of capacity.
