(my two cents) 3 indicators will determine whether this intervention has lasting traction: 1) The size of the #intervention, 2) U.S.– #Japan interest-rate differentials. If U.S. yields remain well above Japanese yields, #carrytrade incentives will persist and 3) Future #BoJ policy.
