Thanks! This was me & @scottwesterfeld. Having to go through and minutely examine every scene and every sentence of The Mortons to decide whether they really needed to be there made us better writers. We'll be doing it to every novel now! #writing
CarolInteresting tidbit from panel about needing to shorten book by 10% note from editor and they opted to try shortening every sentence versus cutting a scene or scene.
