The problem is, nobody has actually defined what "nuclear program" means. There is a vast difference between nuclear energy and medical isotopes, and nuclear bombs.

Nuclear power is a good fuel source. We jave nuclear power stations all over America. It's unreasonable to demand they do that. I can see restricting Weapons grade uranium/plutonium. We're the only country in the world to drop atomic bombs.

I'm all for never sending Israel money again... or weapons. Maybe I'm dumb, but I don't care any more if Iran has nukes than Israel, Russia or the United States. Better if nobody had them, for sure. But I'd guess that if they had nuclear weapons none of this would be happening.

And achievable

We already had the Obama Nuclear Treaty which stopped ALL nuclear development in Iran. They were in compliance; we monitored them constantly; we didn’t need to start a war with them. Trump tore the treaty up!
