So far I've gone to Forde Abbey on Friday, Abbotsbury on Monday (used the 50% off no problems), Mapperton on Tuesday (young woman in cafe didn't know about discount but older woman sitting nearby did), Minterne on Wednesday. Next up Kilverton or Hestercombe. Or maybe Sculpture by the Lake.

Hestercombe is worth visiting as is Sculpture on the Lakes. We have not been to Kilverton for some time. 30 degrees forecast for the next 7 days, will not be going very far and poor dog will be confined to barracks again!

If you are planning a slow trip to Hestercombe then the route we sometimes take makes a nice journey. Bridport to Langport, coffee by the R Parrett at the Wharf then to Burrowbridge, option to climb the Mump. Then the A361/A38 to Taunton on the north side so avoiding the A358 race track
