Don't forget buff food. Also if you want to focus on one at a time for say cosmic exploration, swapping out specialization gives you a slight buff as well to stats.
That's not as "hard" but requires custom deliveries to buy materia for melding via scripts. Also the drone bits thing in cosmic exploration can lead to a lot of random materia from the loot boxes. Society craft/gathering you can turn in tokens for materia too
