Writers, pub folks: My wife is reading a book with some bizarre editing quirks. A weirdly high amount of linebreak hyphenation, often randomly placed in words (e.g., "wo- / rds"). Added spaces after hyphens. Is this some AI tool that's worse than pasting into InDesign? Or just incompetent layout?
