Some great responses to this of people revisiting high school assignments I think everyone should give it a try! Take your least favorite HS English assignment and reread, either you find find something new and interesting in there or else it turns out you actually were a clever little boy/girl

I re-read several of L.M. Montgomery’s Anne books last year, and was able to pick up a sealed ‘80s box set with the covers I remembered, so I had crisp “new” copies to read from. While at times they were a bit lacking in detail (possibly for modesty’s sake), I thoroughly enjoyed most of them.

Yes. I remember reading the first two, and it was a good time to go in for a few more. Eventually I felt the need to go back to more recent fare.
