Easiest way to oppose this is to stop sharing code, datasets, reduce res in charts so they are harder to extract data from, stop using tables or plausibly even parse-able text and render everything as images.

But this is cutting off our nose to spite our face. IMO all charts should be data-embedded whenever remotely possible to allow redrawing and ideally reanalysis.
