This is not helped by much of the Norfolk local media looking the other way after Rupert Lowe was elected. Newsquest decided that political analysis is just something other people do; instead it has never asked Lowe a single difficult question and actually fanboyed him with front pages such as this:

And the Eastern Daily Press - once a serious, respected title - is even worse with Reform, having gone all out for the racist, old-git market, resulting in this ultimate accolade! Newsquest has since promoted the EDP editor (who amazingly once wrote for the New European) to a nice head-office role.
