I turned off my TV 4+ years ago. No News, sitcoms, SNL, Olympics etc. It really wasn't that difficult either.

While you're at it... Stop clicking on digital content. Corp media survives and profits from eyeballs and clicks. Deprive them. Don't watch their channels or click their articles. Its easy. Here's a great alternative for real reporting @theguardian.com and has extensive US coverage.
