But in all seriousness SPECIFICALLY the fear of this bullshit is what kept the allegations from coming out for so long. Women didn’t want to hurt the movement, so the first woman who spoke out was someone opposed to the movement. To weaponize this against the movement is to help silence survivors.

Fetterman's a piece of shit, and I really hope other Dems don't adopt this language. But you know who will? Republicans. And that's a weapon handed them by Katz & Bernie & Warren (and Platner, not that I think he cares in the least).

Do you think that we should trust Bernie and Warren less because of this, is that your point? (I don’t care about Katz, I didn’t know who he was before and I don’t care now. I would say this will end his career but political careers are ~impossible to end these days so).

TBH already I didn't trust Bernie personnel-wise (he was, after all, an early supporter of the ogre we're talking about), and now I trust Warren less. They cared more about getting another anti-Schumer vote in the Senate than about the risks of endorsing that guy. Bad call.
