Goddd yea.. I try to ignore bigots when criticizing something but it's way too easy to get lumped in (for me if peeps like it it's totally fair, but admittedly a lot of the charm of bungie halo for me is being kinda in-between old and new fps design? Like you can crouch jump but also there's regen)

this is about marines, not spartans. Spartans are a weird child soldier thing that’s different from normal marines

Those aren’t Spartans, they’re normal ass marines. Otherwise you’re right; Spartans were children abducted, indoctrinated, and bioengineered by the UNSC to serve as death commandos against independence movements. The “alien horde” thing meant people ignored the question of where Spartans came from.
