Every single time I read a post or a thread about someone going “I finally decided to try AI and see what it does” it always ends up in “AI produces egregiously bad information 20% or more of the time and the things it can do competently could easily be done by a targeted, local tool.”
Alex WildI have started running Claude alongside the book I am writing on ants, as well as just letting Google Gemini do its thing at the top when I do Google search. It is not doing any writing I am using, and I am always checking the results against primary sources.
