I hate this whole situation so much. Really disappointed in Rodri especially, though I suppose you never know what happens behind the scenes. City need to hold out for 80m+ though. Even if he walks on a free, I think he provides us at least 50-60m next year alone.
I don't see that, sadly. He'll make the recovery from the surgery last until Christmas, and then it takes him ages to get up to speed at the best of times. Just get what we can and move on, I say.
The way he and Haaland looked to be in peak form, not to mention a rested Foden and Cherki, I would put us right there as co-favorites for the league, and among the favorites for the UCL.
For me Foden has a lot to do to get back to where he was but really hope he can. To put it bluntly he's had a lot of rest the last two seasons. I'm becoming less convinced by Cherki the more I see of him , don't think he has it between the ears tbh
Foden just got physically wrecked last season with how much distance he covered and how many sprints he did in the first third of the season. I'd think in Maresca's system he could play more of a 10 which I think suits him really well.
Failing a medical in that case would be if they found something unknown. If anything, the Madrid fuckers will use this as leverage so they don't have to pay up in full, the entitled fucks.
