Wise decision. We don't need anyone worried about where their money is actually going. That scammer was an audacious grifter. I'm so glad they've been busted. Thank you for making this difficult decision. Trust is everything. 🤝

Who was the scammer? I try to repost all the fundraisers I see but would hate to think I helped to spread their posts.

I've only seen it discussed on X. It was someone named Dimitro, also "Kot" and a lot of people got sucked into promoting and donating. He's since deleted his account on X. I'll go get the link to Petra's post about it.

Twitter won’t let me see much without an account. Not surprised the scammer was over there. But, thanks for sharing. I got a small peek at the account name. I thought we were past scammers by now. Hate them so much.
