The obvious answer is mainstream corporate media is owned by Trump supporting Right Wing billionaires. Any Democrat will be subjected to 24/7 negative criticism, while any Republican will receive endless softballs and glowing praise.

They won't cover his age the way they won't cover his insanity the way they won't cover the stock market's insane completely unjustifiable high level - because to acknowledge reality risks the stock market line going down, and that must never, ever, happen.
