Possibly Physarum roseum 🤔 I have cultured this one many times before. Before that, it was mostly Physarum polycephalum. The moist chamber cultures are prepared from the pieces of bark, of a Flowering dogwood.😊

However pH can also play a part in determining the pigmentation also, so really the ID is up for grabs I would think?🤔

Color can vary during fruiting, but most active plasmodia have a consistent hue. Only a few are red like this, but without fruit bodies they cannot yet be IDd. Most likely is Craterium roseum (FKA Physarum roseum), but P lateritium, P rubiginosum, & Willkommlangea (for example) are also red
