I really hope I'm ultimately wrong but I dread what's coming in FFXIV 8.0. Everything they're showing and saying reads like a they are shifting focus to entice mobile gamers. Doubling down on creating FOMO in their audience. Multiple pieces of content are just going to be ads. It bums me out.
