If the entire Democratic Party is being asked by the press and pundits about a few DSA candidates in NYC, it seems like the entire Republican Party should be asked about their colleague who has been credibly accused -- by another colleague's daughter -- of repeated acts of violence.

It got load among a lot of his other stuff but this was one of James Carville's complaints about today's Democrats. They don't do any work to hang these people on Republicans generally.

We actually had two. There was Eric Swalwell in California and of course Platner. Swalwell was a representative but these issue came to light during his governor campaign

I don't even think this media thing is only a matter of right-wing media control. I think it's because democrats have actual standards and everyone knows the republicans don't and that they'll just lie and say they don't know or support the person anyway, so why ask?

I don't disagree with this, btw. But it's kind of like "why don't they report that Trump lies about everything." Because they all know he's lying and think we all know he's lying and it's not newsworthy. It SHOULD be that republicans support people like this. But they think it's not so it's not.
